An unusual member of the Blueberry family, this sprawling shrub features arching stems with small, narrow, glossy green foliage. Bright red tubular flowers are produced during summer and these are followed by purple/ red berries. Plant in semi shade in moist, well drained soil. Fairly drought tolerant once established. Does well in cooler climates. Protect from frost. Grows 60cm tall and 1 metre wide.
