A compact evergreen shrub with soft, oval, mid-dark green leaves and masses of mauve-purple, pea-like flowers almost year-round. The main flush of flowering is usually from winter through spring. Grows to about 1.5 metre tall and 1 metre wide. Prefers full sun and well-drained, sheltered sites. It's hardy and can thrive in a variety of soil types.
