Asian inspired garden in the foothills of Waikanae on the Kapiti Coast.

The brief for this garden was to create a plan for the split level site, which incorporated an outdoor fire, a courtyard to plant herbs, vegetables and fruit trees, an art studio and a spa pool.

This project involved creating a full landscape concept for a new build property. The brief for this work required a sensitive approach to the site, as it incorporates a remnant stand of Kanuka forest.  The challenge was to blend a beautiful natural coastal environment and the new home together.

The brief for this project was to eliminate the grass at the front of the property and create a design that was easy care and appealing from the street.
